Bharuch is the city , which is well known , to every student of history, whom is conversant with the early relationships of Islam with India. The Arabs coming for business purposes to India during the rise of Islam landed their ships on the banks of the Narmada at Bharuch from then chain of madresas begun. This Jamiah Uloomul Quran is one of the beautiful jewel of the chain.
In 1986 I was on tour of Dawah to UK sponsored by Darul Uloom Matliwala Bharuch, for a long time I had the idea of establishing an institution of this kind at jambusar, the central place of my native land.It grew stronger when in a special meeting my learned teachers Moluana Yakub Devlavi and Moulana Yakub Qasmi both inspired me for the same. I took if to be no less than divine inspiration, hence , I was determined to put the project into practice. Fortunately I happened to go for Haj.There at every holy place, I with all my heart prayed to Allah for the success in the implementation of the project. At last the moment came when the foundation stone of Jamiah Uloomul Quran was put at Jambusar. The Jamiah will prove to be a beacon of light in the midst of darkness of illiteracy, poverty, backwardness and the famine struck area.
In 1988 a committee was formed for Jamiah . They have decided to take the classes in a rented house. In a avery short space of time Jamiah's whole plan was in place.
In
1988 Jamiah's late trustee Moulana Alli patel Khanpuri's efforts, helped
Haji Daud ngar Saheb to buy a piece of land which was donated to
Jamiah. The committee made a masterplan of jamiah on paper according
to the plan on 28-6-88, the foundation stone was laid by Arif Billah ,Moulana
Muhammed Ali Raza ,Ahmed Ajmeri and other well known persons
from Gujarat, in no time with the help of Allah the project was comleted, so on
Friday 20-1-91 the foundation stone of the mosque was laid by the hands of
Hazrat Shaikh Ajmeri Sahab.
